Biography:
Nancy Ladd has been a CPA since 1985 and is a member of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants. She began her accounting career with her father’s firm, Lewis & Smith. After his passing, in 1992, she and Jim Smith changed the name of the firm to Lewis, Smith & Ladd CPAs. In 2018, they merged with Thurman Campbell Group. She provides tax preparation services for all types of entities and individuals as well as monthly write up and payroll services. She has long standing relationships with her clients and provides long distant tax service for several of them, even after they leave the area. Nancy enjoys community service and currently serves on the Planters Bank Board of Directors and the Austin Peay State University Foundation. She also currently holds the office of treasurer for Madison Street United Methodist Church and for The Roxy Regional Theatre. She has served on the City of Clarksville Audit Committee and served as chapter chairman for the American Red Cross. She and her husband Garnett were Co-Presidents of the Austin Peay State University National Alumni Association for many years. When she is not working, Nancy and Garnett enjoy their cabin at Kentucky Lake and spending time with their children and grandchildren.
